Recruitment Schedule
Round Zero.
This round is a unique opportunity for Potential New Members and students because it allows them to informally visit with all 16 IFC Chapters before Formal Recruitment begins.
Sunday, August 22nd
Attire: Casual wear
Fall Convocation.
This is the welcoming ceremony to IFC Recruitment. PNMs will hear from Council Executives and Fraternity & Sorority Life staff about the upcoming week, as well as a guest speaker.
Attendance Required
Friday, August 23rd at 6:00 PM
Attire: Collared shirt and shorts (no athletic wear)
Round One - Day 1.
Round One consists of visits to all 16 IFC fraternities for an introduction to fraternity life, including the benefits of membership along with the financial, academic, and housing obligations for each respective fraternity. For Day 1, you will see 8 of the 16 chapters for an extended period of time

Saturday, August 24th
Attire: Provided PNM T-shirt and shorts (no athletic wear)
Round One - Day 2.
Round One consists of visiting all 16 IFC fraternities, where potential new members learn about fraternity life, including the benefits of membership along with the financial, academic, and housing obligations for each respective fraternity. On Day 2, you will visit the other 8 chapters you didn’t previously go to.

Sunday, August 25th
Attire: Provided PNM T-shirt and shorts (no athletic wear)
Round Two - Day 1 and 2.
Round Two consists of extended visits of up to 8 IFC fraternities, 4 each day, meant to provide an insight into each fraternity’s philanthropy. This includes potential new members learning about each respective fraternity’s philanthropy, community service, and campus involvement.
Attendance Required
Monday, August 26th and Wednesday, August 28th
Attire: Button-down, slacks, and dress shoes
Round Three.
Round Three consists of visits to up to 3 IFC fraternities. These events will provide an insight into the fraternities’ brotherhoods. This includes spending time with chapter members to gain a greater perspective on how each fraternity celebrates its brotherhood.

Thursday, August 29th
Attire: Jacket, tie, button-down, slacks, and dress shoes
Bid Day.
Membership invitations will be delivered to each PNM in the morning hours. Each membership invitation will have instructions for bid day.
